Last week Dennis decided to plan a trip for us to San Diego. Even though our trips to SD are usually only day trips, they are always so much fun and we always make the most out of our few hours there. For this post I decided to round up some of my favorite places in San Diego so far!
So first things first, lets start with the coffeeeeee!
What ever city we are visiting, Dennis and I always like to start our day with coffee. We have tried a few coffee spots in San Diego and we have a couple more to go on our list. But the shops that have stood out to me the most so far have been Buzzed Coffee and Por Vida Cafe. Buzzed coffee is a cool spot located close to the beach. They have a large and great selection of drinks. However out of the two Por Vida is one of my favorite coffee shops thus far.
Por Vida Cafe is located in San Diegos Barrio Logan. This place is really one of a kind, and the coffee is soooo good! I’ve been to many other Mexican coffee spots but none really have come to close to this one. Everything from the artsy cups to location is perfection!
Another place we got to check out on our last visit was Gratitude Cafe. They have a few other locations in SoCal, but this was our first visit. We didn’t get to try their coffee but the Ice Matcha was wonderful!
No trip to San Diego is complete without taking a stroll down the harbor. Some of the best things to do in San Diego are found here. Aside from the beautiful view, you will find a series of boat museums, and my personal favorite the famous “Unconditional Surrender” sculpture aka the kissing statue
The sculpture is located at 55 Tuna Ln, San Diego, CA 92132. 
For a delicious meal and the most spectacular views of San Diego there is no better place than Island Prime/ C Level. Dennis still can’t get over that Mac n’ Cheese!
